Epic AVATAR Plot Fail?
I really enjoyed Avatar although I’ve only seen it in 2D so far on a small screen at a small theatre (hey, it was only 4 bucks!). I’m looking forward to the ‘full experience’ though (3D, IMAX, but that’s almost 20 bucks). Then again, a friend has just informed me that 3D DVDs play incredibly well on his high-end awesome system (dude’s a banker, he can afford the best toys) and another friend who works at a theatre chain has promised to send me a really good set of 3D glasses, so maybe I’ll save my money and visit my banker friend. Still, this is hilarious:

i think you’re cheating yourself not seeing this movie in the theater in 3D. what are you gonna do, step into the world of pandora inside your monitor, watching a bootleg no less? might as well watch it on an ipod. imax in my neighborhood is only 13 bucks (and it’s not one of those “LieMax” theaters either).

it’s not a matter of ‘cheating’ myself. it’s almost 20 bucks at my IMAX, and since i’m just a little tight at the moment (freelancing while looking for steady work), i decided to put that $20 towards groceries (i spend about 25/week on food, so you can see why i might might that choice). and you must not have understood what i wrote. i watched it a regular theatre on a regular screen in 2D on a Tuesday where they charge four bucks aka ‘two twoonies’. in Canada - where i live - we have 1 dollar (loonie) and 2 dollar (toonie) coins. i did not watch an illegal copy on a computer or on an ipod. ok, i hope that is fully clear now. thanks for stopping by.
